We've had a really good week!! It started off with a bang but it's been okay since. I must say that Lora Kate is really starting to talk A LOT!!! She still babbles a good bit and I really wish I knew what she was saying...esp when I catch her talking to herself. I just stand and listen bec/ it's so interesting and amazing. She definitely knows what she's saying but I have no clue.
The words I do know that she is saying are
"TV", "Cluck cluck" (for what does a chicken say), "MMMOOOO" (What does a cow say?) "OOWW" What does a cat say? Mom has a cat, Smokey, and she calls her "Cokey" and Malco, the dog, she calls Mal which is pretty cute. She says Quack Quack for duck and cuckl doo for a rooster. She's also counting to 3 and I'm so impressed! I had no idea until I was counting the other day and we were jumping off the bed and she piped up and goes uuunnn, eeewww, freeeee, wheee. When I change her diaper now she points and goes, "Ewwwww (pause) uck". VERY funny! Her favorite songs are "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Wheels on the Bus." She does all the hand motions for each and it's so cute. She says juice when she's thirsty and when she wants to tell me what she wants to do she goes and shows me (whether it be play outside, read a book, eat, TV, etc). It sure makes it a lot easier instead of walking around the house with her crying until I do everything I can think of she may be interested in and we find what she wants to do.
Last night she was pretty wide open and we got in my bed and laid there and played, tickled, jumped and bounced and just had such a good time. I love hearing her laugh. It's absolutely the most beautiful music my ears have ever heard.
