We had a very busy weekend! On Saturday Lora Kate and I woke up and started getting dressed for Breakfast with Santa. Papa (my Dad) stopped by and played with Lora Kate for about an hour. He dried her hair and helped get her dressed while I got dressed. It is VERY time consuming to try and get dressed while she is hanging out in the bathroom with me. It was a HUGE help and Lora Kate loves her Papa! We went to Breakfast with Santa and while she did sit in Santa's lap she screamed when she did so. We got the classic one year old picture with Santa that will be memorable in years to come. Daisy and Tessa played with Lora Kate and chased her all over the Country Club. She reveled in the attention. After the Santa visit and playing with all the kids we went to a family Christmas lunch. My house (pics included) was on The Tour of Homes from 12-7 Saturday so we were in and out all day and napped at Mom's house mid-afternoon. Saturday night Lora Kate had a babysitter while I went to a Good Hope get-together at April & Tal's...and had a blast I might add! Sunday we had lunch with Lindsey and Lora Kate got to admire Collin! Then we rested and DeeDee (Andrea) came by to visit and play. Lora Kate is doing the funniest little things these days and Andrea and I have both decided she will definitely be a drama queen (lucky me)!! As I've said before...she's a little Diva in the making. She loves her pocketbooks (and mine). I caught her putting on lipstick the other day and thought, "How do you know how to do that and how do you know that the item you pulled out of my purse is used to decorate the lips?" She's getting into everything but watching her learn continues to amaze (and surprise) me!
