You Know You Are A MOM When. . .

Last night I was playing with Lora Kate in her room. We had just gotten finished watching one of her favorite videos with Dr. Seuss and the Grinch. They sing all these silly songs and dance. She is mesmerized by it. SSSSOOOO....we are playing and I've got this stupid silly song stuck in my head that I'm humming and I think "Oh Crap...what the hell?!?! Well I guess you know you are a Mom when...
That led me into thinking I could make a blog out of this so here goes...

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A MOM WHEN. . .

(1) You no longer have Billboard Top 10 songs running through your head but nursery rhymes and children's songs. The CD player in your car is 99% of the time playing The Top 50 Children's Songs. NICE!!!!

(2) You are playing and your daughter wants you to put a bow in your hair too. So you put a big silly bow on the top of your head, forget it's there and take the trash out while 7-8 cars pass by staring, all the while thinking "WHAT are you looking at?!" You do not remember the bow is sitting on top of your head until you go back inside and your daughter points and laughs at you. Yes this really happened!!!

(3) Your cabinets are full of foods that can be easily broken apart into small pieces.

(4) You have wipes in your car, purse, trunk, etc. 'just in case'

(5) Coming home from a long day and playing with toys hasn't been this much fun since the age of 5.

(6) You wash 10x more loads of clothes per week than you EVER have.

(7) You would rather go shopping and spend all your Christmas money, birthday money, etc. on your child's wardrobe than your own.

(8) Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Nordstrom...What are those? WalMart, Target, BabiesRUs, ToysRUs and PotteryBarn Kids are MUCH more your style these days!

(9) Your kitchen cabinet is no longer filled with beer mugs, wine glasses and plastic cups from all the bars but instead with sippy cups and tops.

(10) If you get to sleep until 8 am that's now considered 'sleeping in' ; whereas before it was 11 or 12 am.
