On Saturday, Mom and I took Lora Kate to the Jr. League Marketplace in Athens at The Classic Center. They had great venues and lots of cool local vendors. It was VERY crowded though and it was very hot inside!! Lora Kate got a little cranky towards the end and bit her Mommy! Yes my child is a biter. This is the first time she has bitten me but she has bitten kids at school. She bit me on my finger and there was a gush of blood for about 10 minutes. I was not happy with her and it definitely tested my patience! There was a group there called the GA CHIP (Child Identification Program). They put all of Lora Kate's information on a CD, took her picture, got some fingerprints and had her bite down on a mold for dental records. After she bit down and they took it away from her she wanted it back. Needless to say my child enjoys biting things and people. I was never a biter but my sister was a MASSIVE skin breaker. She bit John and I on countless occasions. Andrea reminded me the other day of the saying that 'siblings have their sibling's children' and unfortunately for me I think I had a little Andrea on my hands. She thinks it's quite hilarious but I'm not so amused because she was a handful as a toddler and I was the angel. Now I think Lora Kate is quite the angel but she has her moments. From what I'm hearing though they all do! :-)
Lora Kate sat in Santa's lap but she was not too happy about it so Mom and I got in the picture with her to calm her down. We had some pretty good pictures taken and I was glad they had a 'real' Santa. Santa even INSISTED that I sit in his lap and when I tried to get up he pulled me back down. I won't go into that but it was my freaky experience with Santa. Mike and I have gotten a lot of laughs out of my 'Santa experience' over the weekend.
I have attached pictures of Lora Kate and Mom and I in Santa's lap. The holiday season is officially upon us and I'm very excited - it is my favorite time of year!
Have a wonderful week and stay warm! Also be sure and stay away from Santa pervs! :-)

Cute pictures! Sorry Santa molested you!
Ha, you seem a little creeped out by santa in some of them...I hated going to see Santa when I was a kid (I think I knew that Santa was highly unlikely to be spending a month and a half during crunch-time in little ole Lynchburg, Virginia) and I remember smelling a weird smell on Santa that I've now figured out is the distinct smell of cheap scotch. I suppose it's a rite of passage! She looks like she was having fun though!
Good pictures! Sorry you got bit.
